After months of waiting, Bay View will officially be getting a new pizza place this weekend. RedBrick Pizza—an artisan pizzeria located at 2202 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. in a ground floor retail space in Vue Apartments—recently announced it will open for business beginning Sunday, September 1.
RedBrick specializes in fire-roasted gourmet pizzas that are made with organic dough and baked in a 1,000-degree oven. The chain (which also has a location just outside of Dallas, Texas) offers a wide variety of specialty pizzas, including BBQ Chicken, Pesto Chicken Amore, Greek, and a neapolitan-style Pizza Rustica, as well as the option for customers to build their own pizza. In addition to the pizza, the new restaurant will offer salads, gelato, and a wide selection of a calzone/panini hybrid called “Fhazani.”
