DALLAS – (December 2017) – BRIX Holdings, LLC celebrated another successful year in 2017. The BRIX Holdings portfolio, which includes Red Mango® Yogurt Café Smoothie & Juice Bar, Smoothie Factory® Juice Bar, RedBrick Pizza® Kitchen Cafe, Souper Salad®, and Greenz® chains, celebrated new signings and innovative product developments in 2017 to cater to its health-conscious investors and customers.

Red Mango kicked off 2017 by celebrating its 10th anniversary in March and did so by bringing back the first two flavors that were introduced when the brand launched in 2007—Original Tart and Green Tea. Over the summer the brand rolled out FroNoTM across all locations. The newest all-natural, non-dairy and gluten free frozen treat continues the brand’s mission to deliver superior taste, with none of the guilt. FroNo was so well received by customers that additional flavors will be introduced in January.

It was a year filled with all-star openings. In the spring, legendary Hall of Fame NBA player Hakeem Olajuwon opened a co-branded Red Mango/ Nestle Toll House Café by Chip store in Mont Belvieu, TX. Continuing to see success with non-traditional locations, a Red Mango opened up at the food court at Harrah’s Laughlin Casino and Hotel in Laughlin, Nevada, The International Airport at Houston with HMS Host, Rutgers University in New Jersey and several other locations with Compass Foods, and continued expansion into K-12 with Aramark at the Round Rock ISD in Texas The year capped off with the opening of Red Mango at The Star in Frisco, the world headquarters and training center of the Dallas Cowboys. The store is the first Red Mango location in Frisco and the 24th in Texas.

In December BRIX unveiled a new prototype for RedBrick Pizza Kitchen Cafe. The restaurant, located in North Brunswick, New Jersey features a vibrant new interior design for the chain with a contemporary, streamlined look, and state-of-the-art pizza oven. Customers will be able to walk through the line and “build their own” pizza or order one of RedBrick Pizza’s signature pizza recipes. The brand is also now offering an organic wheat dough for the restaurant’s fire-roasted gourmet Neopolitan pizzas. Infused with heart healthy organic extra virgin olive oil, the organic dough is being rolled out across RedBrick Pizza restaurants nationwide.

Meanwhile, Smoothie Factory introduced a line of 12 all-natural fresh juices. Designed to offer Smoothie Factory customers delicious and nutritious juice options that are fewer than 230 calories per serving, the juices are made with high quality ingredients and innovative fresh-squeezed produce combinations and served in a convenient 16 oz resealable bottle.
